We gratefully acknowledge that Camp Veselka and the land where our ancestors settled and established as New Iceland are located on Treaty 1 territory, traditionally cared for by the Anishinaabe, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dene, and Dakota nations, and serves as the ancestral homeland of the Red River Métis Nation.
